Yang graduated from the University of Melbourne’s DVM program in 2018 and moved to Numurkah where he worked for a busy mixed practice. It was here he learned the fundamentals of being an all-round vet, often working with dairy cows in the morning and small animals in the afternoon. Following this, he moved to the Northern Territory where he had the unique and rewarding experience of working in remote Indigenous communities whilst seeing the vast expanses of our country. Yang gained valuable breeding experience on a thoroughbred stud in NSW before returning to Melbourne.
Since then he has worked extensively with pleasure and performance horses, most recently with Dr. Ben and Dr. Kim at Yarra Ranges Animal Hospital. He is proud to continue in their footsteps by providing high quality, individualised care to his client’s and their horses.

In his limited free time, he enjoys fishing, leatherwork, keeping fit and spending time with his partner Georgia.
